Detectives assigned to the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a homicide which occurred on Minnesota Avenue, NE.
On Saturday, February 28, 2009, at approximately 10:50 pm, members of the Sixth District and DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services Department personnel responded to the 4100 block of Minnesota Avenue, NE for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered a male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
The victim, identified as 14-year-old Arthur Daniels of NE, Washington, DC, was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
