The Metropolitan Police Department Assists in the Apprehension of Two Robbery Suspects

Officers from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fourth District assisted Takoma Park, Maryland Police in the apprehension of two robbery suspects.

On Saturday, June 13, 2009, detectives assigned to the Takoma Park Police Department were investigating a robbery of an establishment in the 7600 block of New Hampshire Avenue, in Takoma Park, Maryland.  During the investigation, it was discovered that a cell phone had been stolen, which was tracked to 10th and Quebec Streets, NW, Washington, DC.  Takoma Park Police enlisted the assistance of the Metropolitan Police Department and Fourth District officers responded to that area and arrested two juvenile male suspects, one of whom was in possession of the cell phone.  They are being charged as Fugitives from Justice.  Their identities are being withheld because they are juveniles.
