Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch have announced that an arrest has been made in the fatal shooting which occurred in the 3500 block of 22nd Street, SE.
On Wednesday, September 29, 2010, at approximately 10:09 pm, units from the Seventh District responded to the 3500 block of 22nd Street, SE for the report of two people shot. Upon their arrival, they discovered two unconscious and unresponsive adult male victims suffering from gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services personnel responded and determined that one of the victims did not show any signs consistent with life and was pronounced dead by a representative from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner of DC. The second victim was transported to a local hospital where on September 30, 2010 he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
The victims have been identified as 29 year-old Antonio Robertson and 21 year-old Deangelo Bowman.
On Thursday, September 08, 2011, 23 year-old Frankie Angelo Armstrong of Southeast, DC, was arrested by members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force pursuant to a DC Superior Court warrant charging him with Second Degree Murder While Armed.
