Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Youth Investigations Division have announced that an arrest has been made in the sexual assault that occurred in the 1400 block of Spring Road, NW.

On Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at approximately 11:33 am units from the Fourth District responded to the 1400 block of Spring Road NW, for the report of a sexual assault.  Upon arriving on the scene, officers interviewed the juvenile victim, who reported that an adult male had sexually assaulted her. 

The suspect was identified as 50 year-old Ronald Tibbs of Northeast, DC.  He was arrested on scene and charged with Burglary One and Second Degree Sexual Abuse.
