Parental Kidnaping on Harvard Street, NW

The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in the following parental kidnaping case.

At about 2:45 p.m. on August 26, 6-month-old Tommy Luna was allegedly abducted by his biological father, Salvador Garcia, from the 1300 block of Harvard Street, NW. Mr. Garcia reportedly snatched little Tommy from the arms of his mother and fled the scene traveling eastbound on Harvard Street, NW, in a 1992 turquoise Chevy Camaro.

Tommy is described as a light-complexioned Hispanic male, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue one-piece jumper.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Tommy or his father is asked to call Detective Gary Johnson of the Department's Third District at 202-673-6914.
