Today, members the Metropolitan
Police Department’s Major Narcotics Branch executed a search warrant
at 44 Galveston Street, SW, apartment number 101.
As the result of the execution of the search warrant, seven individuals
were arrested and charged with the Controlled Substance Act (CSA) --
Possession With the Intent to Distribute PCP. They are scheduled to
be arraigned tomorrow in D.C. Superior Court.
Additionally, one hundred
forty-eight packets of marijuana laced with PCP (approximately 108 grams)
and approximately $1,300 in U.S. currency were recovered. One AK-47
assault rifle, one shotgun, and one .38 revolver were also seized.
