At approximately 11:41 pm on Friday, September 24, 1999, police and DCFD emergency medical technicians responded to the 3500 block of 6th Street, SE for the report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, they found a male suffering from a stab wound to the chest lying on the parking lot alongside of 3510 6th Street.
The victim, who has been identified as 18-year-old Aaron Kendall Walker, of the 600 block of Mississippi Avenue, SE, was medically evacuated to the Washington Hospital Center's MedSTAR Unit where he was pronounced dead at 2:19 a.m. on Saturday, September 25th.
The case is currently under investigation by detectives assigned to Metropolitan Police Department's Seventh District.

UPDATE
At approximately 8:00 am on 9/30/99, a suspect wanted on a D.C. Superior Court arrest warrant charging Murder I While Armed in connection with the death of Aaron K. Walker turned himself in to Seventh District investigators. The Suspect, identified as 21-year-old James Gregory Morgan, Jr., of the 3500 block of 6th Street, SE, is scheduled to be arraigned today in D.C. Superior Court.
Additionally, a suspect identified as Morgan's stepfather, 55-year-old Gregory Sam, also of the 6th Street address, was arrested on 9/29/99 and charged with Accessory after the Fact in connection with the murder of Aaron Walker.
