On Sunday, December 27, 1998, at approximately 5:37 am, police and DCFD emergency medical technicians responded to the 300 block of Kennedy Street, NW for an unconscious person. Upon their arrival, they discovered a male behind the driver's seat of a automobile suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the head and body.
The victim, who has been identified as 27-year-old Marcus Lee Robinson of the 800 block of Xenia Street, SE, was transported to DC General Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 8:29 am.
