At approximately 4:02 pm., on Saturday, June 25, 2005, police were called to the 2200 block of 13th Street, SE, for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival police located a 32-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to head. He was taken to the George Washington University Hospital and pronounced dead.
The victim?s identity is being withheld at this time pending the notification of his next-of-kin.
The case is under investigation by members of the department?s Violent Crimes Branch. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call police at 202-727-9099.
The department offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
