Homicide on P Street, NW

At approximately 5:08 a.m., this morning Third District officers responded to an apartment located at 906 P Street, N.W., to investigate the trouble. Upon arrival, units located an unidentified male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body. DCFD medics were called to render medical assistance but found no signs of life.

The victim, whose name is being withheld at this time pending notification of next of kin, was transported to the D.C. Medical Examiner's Office where he was officially pronounced dead.

This case is currently under investigation by detectives of the Third District. Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call detectives at 202-673-6914 or the D.C. Crime Solvers Unit at 1-800-673-2777.

The Metropolitan Police Department is presently offering a TEN THOUSAND-DOLLAR REWARD to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
