On
Friday, August 25, 2000, at approximately 12:19 a.m., police and DCFD
emergency medical technicians responded to the 4900 block of Alabama Avenue,
SE for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they located a man suffering
from multiple gunshot wounds lying in the rear of 4406 Falls Terrace,
SE.
The victim, who has been identified as 27-year-old Theottis G. Mack,
of the 300 block of Ridge Road, SE, was transported to D.C. General Hospital
where he was pronounced dead at 4:03 a.m. The remains were then taken
to the D.C. Medical Examiner's Office.
The case is currently under investigation by detectives assigned to the
department's Sixth

The Metropolitan Police Department is currently offering a TEN THOUSAND-DOLLAR
REWARD to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest
and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed
in the District of Columbia.
