Fatal Shooting Investigation

At approximately 11:35 pm, on Tuesday, November 22, 2005, an unidentified black male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the body was reportedly dropped off by private vehicle at the Greater Southeast Community Hospital. The victim was subsequently transported to the Washington Hospital Center's MedStar Unit, where he was pronounced dead at 6:30 am, on Wednesday, November 23, 2005.

 

The location of this shooting is unknown at this time. This case remains under investigation by members from the Metropolitan Police Department's Violent Crimes Branch. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call police at (202) 727-9099.

 

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
