The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public's assistance to help identify and locate two suspects wanted in connection with burglary and theft cases involving a confidence game. The suspects appear to be targeting senior citizens.
The most recent offenses occurred at 2:30 pm on Thursday, February 18, 1999, in the 5800 block of Chevy Chase Parkway, NW, and at 2:30 pm on Friday, February 19, 1999, in the 3900 block of Windom Place, NW.
In each case, one of the suspects convinced the victim to allow her to enter the victim's residence and distracted the victim, while simultaneously the other suspect secretly gained entry to the house and stole valuables from the home.
The suspects are described as follows:
- Suspect #1:
Light complexioned white or hispanic female, approximately 35 years old, 5'5" - 5'6" tall, weighing approximately 160 pounds, with blonde hair.
- Suspect #2:
White or hispanic female, approximately 35 years old, 5'7" - 5'9" tall, weighing approximately 130 pounds, with dark colored hair and dark colored eyes.

All calls to the Crime Solvers Unit are confidential and a caller need not give his or her name. A caller who provides information through the Crime Solvers unit which leads to an arrest and indictment will be eligible for a reward of up to ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS.
