At approximately 5:35 on the evening of Friday, May 21, 1999, police and DCFD emergency medical technicians responded to an apartment building located at 416 F Street, NE for the report of a unconscious person. Upon their arrival, they found a female suffering from apparent multiple stab wounds inside of that address.
The victim, who has been identified as 24-year-old Susan Noelle Wvengros, of the F Street address, was pronounced dead on the scene at 7:19 pm by a doctor on the staff of the D.C. Medical Examiner's Office. Subsequently, the victim's remains were transported to the D.C. Medical Examiner's Office pending an autopsy.
This case is currently under investigation by detectives of the Metropolitan Police Department's First District .
