Suspects Sought in Robbery at 4250 Nannie Helen Borroughs Avenue, NE

At approximately 10:43 am on Saturday, December 10, 2005, two men, wearing ski masks, entered the Wendy's restaurant located at 4250 Nannie Helen Burroughs Avenue, NE. Once inside, one suspect jumped over the counter while the second suspect kept watch in the dinning area. After obtaining an undetermined amount of money both men made good their escape.

 

The first suspect is described as a black male in his thirties, approximately 5'11" tall, 130 pounds with a medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a blue coat, blue jeans, black skull cap and armed with a dark colored handgun. The second suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5'8" tall, stocky build with a medium complexion.  He was last seen wearing a black coat, blue jeans, ski mask and armed with a silver colored handgun.

 

Anyone with information about these suspects or sees them should take no direct action but call police at (202) 727-9099.  The department currently offers a reward of up to $5,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a robbery.
