Homicide on 37th Street, SE

On Thursday, April 26, 2001, at approximately 1:30 a.m., Sixth District Police and DCFD medical personnel responded to the 200 block of 37th Street, S.E. for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, units located an unidentified male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim, identified as 22-year-old Bradley Holmes of the 4600 block of Gault Place, N.E., was transported to DC General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The case is currently under investigation by detectives of the Sixth District.

The Metropolitan Police Department is presently offering a TEN THOUSAND-DOLLAR REWARD to anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide in the District of Columbia.
