Fatal Shooting on Euclid Street, NW

At approximately 12:41 a.m. on Friday, May 25th, 2001, officers from the Third District responded to the 1600 block of Euclid Street, NW to investigate the sound of gunshots. Upon arrival on the scene officers observed a male subject lying in the street at that location suffering from apparent multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was subsequently transported to the Washington Hospital Center's MedSTAR where he was pronounced dead at 1:33 a.m.

The victim in this case has been identified as 20-year-old Bia Secka of the 6800 block of Riverdale Road in Riverdale, Maryland.

The Metropolitan Police Department is presently offering a $10,000 REWARD to anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide in the District of Columbia.
