Fatal Shooting on Taylor Street, NW

At approximately 12:15 this morning, Fourth District Units responded to the 1300 block of Taylor Street, NW for the sounds of gunshots. Upon arrival, officers located an unidentified male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the stomach. DCFD medics were called to the scene to render medical assistance.

The victim, who has been identified as 20-year-old Danny Webb of the 1300 block of Taylor Street, NW, was transported to MedStar where he was pronounced dead at 8:45 a.m.
