At approximately 3:20 this morning, a person driving eastbound on G Street, NW, near 7th Street, apparently lost control of his vehicle and struck the MCI Center. Minor structural damage to a window and a window frame resulted from the impact.

The operator of the vehicle has been identified as 28-year-old Mr. Keith Olive of the 3800 block of Envision Terrace in Bowie, Maryland. He was not injured.

Preliminary investigation indicates that alcohol and fatigue may have been contributing factors in this accident. He was cited with Driving While Intoxicated and will be arraigned at a later date at D.C. Superior Court.
