On
Friday, April 28, 2000, at approximately 1:15 a.m., police and DCFD
emergency medical personnel responded to 4403 Quarles Street, NE to investigate
the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered a male suffering
from a gunshot wound to the side.
The victim was transported to D.C. General Hospital where he was later
pronounced dead. His identity is being withheld pending notification of
his next-of-kin.
The case is currently under investigation by detectives of the Sixth

The Metropolitan Police Department is presently offering a TEN THOUSAND-DOLLAR
REWARD to anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest
and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide,
committed in the District of Columbia.
