Homicide on First Street, SE

On Saturday, June 23, 2001 at approximately 10:27 p.m. DCFD medical personnel and members of the Seventh District were call to the 3700 block of First Street SE for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival units located an unidentified male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the head.

The victim, identified as 29-year-old Gregory Andrew Hull of the 600 block of 48th Street, SE, was transported to Howard University Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 11:06 p.m.

The case is currently under investigation by detectives of the Seventh District. Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call detectives at 202-698-1276 or the DC Crime Solvers Unit at 1-800-673-2777.

The Metropolitan Police Department is presently offering a TEN THOUSAND-DOLLAR REWARD to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
