Today at approximately 9:00 A.M., members of the First
District's Focus Mission team made the first quantity-based felony
arrests for Possession with the Intent to Distribute Marijuana in the
District of Columbia.
The arrests came as the result of a covert operation, which also resulted
in the seizure of twelve pounds of marijuana with an estimated street
value of $68,000. The suspects, identified as 37-year-old Jason Johnson,
of the 1300 block of First Street, SW, and 39-year-old Dana Roach,
of no fixed address, were arrested in the James Creek Housing Community,
inside of a residence located in the 1500 block of First Street, SW.
Mr. Johnson and Mr. Roach are scheduled to be arraigned in DC
Superior Court .
