Suspect Arrested in Homicide on Fairmont Street, NW

At approximately 12:05 am, on Saturday, August 12, 2006, Metropolitan Police were called to the 1400 block of Fairmont Street, NW, to investigate the trouble.  Upon arrival, officers located 25-year-old Terran Miller, of the 1400 block of Fairmont Street, NW, suffering from apparent severe head injuries. 

 

The preliminary investigation indicates that he was shot at by a person or persons unknown while in the 1400 block of Fairmont Street, NW. While fleeing he was struck by a car that failed to stop.  He was taken to the Washington Hospital Center’s MedStar Unit and admitted in critical condition.      

 

At approximately 8:05 am, on Friday, August 18, 2006, Terran Miller was pronounced dead as a result of his injuries. 

 

Metropolitan Police detectives closed this case on Saturday, August 26, with the arrest of 27-year-old Marlon Kerwin Blaize, of the 1300 block of Girard Street, NW. He has been charged with Murder II.
