Suspect Sought in Robbery of CVS on 12th Street, NE

CVS RobberyThe Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in attempting to locate and identify a lone armed robbery suspect.

At approximately 7:30 am., on Thursday, September 28, 2006, a lone male entered the  CVS Pharmacy Store, located in the 3600 block of 12th Street, NE. Once inside, the suspect produced a handgun and obtained cash before making good his escape.

The suspect is described as a black male, in his 20s, and 5’9” tall. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweat shirt, black hat, sunglasses, and dark pants.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call police at (202) 727-9099. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any robbery committed in the District of Columbia.
