Thousands of officers from jurisdictions nationwide will be sworn in during a training session to work during the 56th Presidential Inauguration. The media is invited to tape/record the swearing in portion of the training. However, members of the media must depart immediately after the swearing in, as no taping/recording is allowed during the training session. Approximately 2,500 officers will be sworn in during this session.

WHAT:           Swearing in of outside law enforcement officers who will provide security

                   during the Inauguration.

                   Washington, DC

TIME:             Arrive by noon for 1 p.m. swearing in event.
