(Washington) The DC Department of Human Resources (DCHR), in partnership with DC Department of Employment Services (DOES) will host Mayor Fenty’s 2007 Citywide Job Fair on Wednesday August 22, 2007 at the Washington Convention Center from 10 am to 4 pm. More than 150 exhibitors are expected to participate in the Mayor’s Citywide Job Fair including District government agencies and private companies. Participants may visit the Citywide Job Fair Information Center to register and to learn more about the exhibitors.

In preparation for this event, the Office on African Affairs (OAA) will host a Pre-Job Fair Workshop on August 11, 2007 at the Reeves Center from 3 pm to 6 pm. The Pre-Job Fair Workshop will include resumé and job search training as well as information about navigating the application process within the Government of the District of Columbia. Particpants can expect to meet representatives from the DC Department of Employment Services.
