On February 6, 2009, The Office on African Affairs will host a screening of the film, “Neo-African Americans”, as well as facilitate a community discussion with filmmaker, Kobina Aidoo. The film focuses on the cultural and political implications of the growing African and Caribbean immigrant populations to the United States. This event will be held at the historic, Charles Sumner School located at 1201 17th St., NW Washington, DC 20036. The screening and discussion will begin at 6 pm will end at 9 pm.
