Washington, DC—The Government of the District of Columbia Department of Small and Local Business Development (DSLBD), Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO), and the Office of Contracting and Procurement (OCP) will hold a roundtable and information session on Tuesday, July 29, 2008, to discuss the proposed Information Technology Staff Augmentation (ITSA) contract. The event will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at One Judiciary Square, 441 4th Street, NW, Suite 1107.
Nicole Becton, interim Director, DSLBD; Chief Technology Officer, Vivek Kundra; and Chief Procurement Officer, David P. Gragan, will discuss the process for the ITSA and how the proposed contract will expand procurement opportunities for certified IT firms.
The ITSA contract has a 95 percent Certified Business Enterprise (CBE) commitment. Businesses will have an opportunity to ask questions regarding the proposed ITSA contract and speak directly with District officials. IT firms currently doing business or seeking to do business with the District government are encouraged to attend.
An ITSA Contract Solicitation webpage has been created specifically for this procurement: itsa.dc.gov. The page can be used by Offerors responding to the District's Request for Proposal (DCTO-2008-R-0135). Visitors may also view Frequently Asked Questions and Answers, video clips from the pre-proposal conference, and a slide show describing the ITSA.
