(Washington, DC) - The Government of the District of Columbia Office of Contracting and Procurement (OCP), on behalf of the Office of Property Management (OPM), has released a solicitation seeking contractors to provide Construction Management (CM) and related services.
The solicitation will establish an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for CM services with eight participants. The IDIQ will allow District agencies to use this vehicle to procure a wide variety of CM and project management services to support agencies in planning, management and execution of capital projects. The solicitation is designated as an open market procurement with 35 percent subcontracting set-aside for Certified Business Enterprises (CBE). The Pre-proposal Conference is scheduled at 2 pm on Friday, December 19, 2008. It will be held at One Judiciary Square, 441 4th Street, NW, 11th Floor Conference Room, Suite 1114, Washington, DC 20001.
The contractor shall provide oversight of construction services and will furnish all necessary labor and services required by the District to assist in the following:
- planning;
- constructability review;
- procurement planning;
- construction-management;
- commissioning;
- occupancy; and
- post-occupancy of a single or multiple projects.
The contractor shall also monitor construction and assigned projects to ensure the General Contractor’s delivery of the projects are progressing on-budget and on-time.
