UCC Construction Schedule Extension - Releases - Office of the Chief Technology Officer

The Government of the District of Columbia Office of Contracts and Procurement (OCP), on behalf of the Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO), has granted to the General Contractor (Jair Lynch/Tompkins Joint Venture) an extension to the current contract completion date. This contract modification extends the contract completion date to the end of February 2006 to accommodate weather delays, availability of permanent power (from Pepco), as well as owner-directed changes designed to facilitate the smooth transition of the District of Columbia Emergency Management Agency (EMA) to the UCC.

This extension does not impact the Spring 2006 planned operational date of the facility.
