UCC Participates in the DOES Passport to Work Program

The DC Department of Employment Services (DOES) will hold its annual Passport to Work Program for summer youth jobs. The UCC Project will again serve as a worksite host representative on behalf of the Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO). Three students from Ward 8 high schools will be selected to gain invaluable work experience in the areas of project management, construction management, and technology services. In addition, the program will provide opportunities in the areas of career development and workplace preparedness. This will be the fourth straight year for the UCC project to participate in this program.

Interested Ward 8 parents and students are encouraged to contact the UCC Project Coordinator Michele Holmes at (202) 645-9339, to ensure their selection. These positions will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
