Interim Chief Technology Officer Chris Willey will visit Harvard to represent OCTO as finalist for 2009 Kennedy School Innovations in American Government Award. The District is being recognized for its 200+ data feeds that allow residents to subscribe to real-time operational data from many District agencies from a centralized access point.
The finalists recognized represent innovations from all levels of government and were selected from a pool of over 600 initial applicants after rigorous rounds of evaluation. Winners of the 2009 Innovations in American Government Awards will be announced in the fall.
