2008 Disability Mentoring Days

The Office of Disability Rights, in collaboration with the Government of the District of Columbia, will participate in a series of Disability Mentoring activities in the DC area to bring mentees and employers from DC Government agencies together beginning October 15, 2008 and continuing toward the end of the month.  Disability Mentoring Days promote career development for students and job-seekers with disabilities through job shadowing and hands-on career exploration.

To learn more about the 2008 DC Disability Awareness Conference and the Disability Mentoring Days, please review the attachments; visit the Office of Disability Rights website (http://odr.dc.gov); or contact Mat McCollough, ODR Communications Manager, at (202) 727-6744 or mat.mccollough@dc.gov.  An online registration process will be available in the upcoming weeks for the 2008 DC Disability Awareness Conference.

The Office of Disability Rights is looking forward to your participation and bringing the entire DC community together throughout the month of October.
