October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month. In recognition of this significant month the Office of Disability Rights, in collaboration with the District Government, will participate in a series of Disability Mentoring activities in the DC area to bring mentees and employers from the District Government agencies together beginning the second half of October and continuing toward the end of the month. Disability Mentoring Days promote career development for students with disabilities through job shadowing and hands-on career exploration.
Please visit this webpage often as updates will be posted frequently throughout the months of September and October.
More information will be posted as it becomes available.
