OHR Now Provides a TTY Number for the Hearing Impaired

(Washington, DC)  The Office of Human Rights now provides a Text Telephone (TTY) for the hearing impaired.  Contact (202) 724-2050 for human rights services. 

The District of Columbia government offers Text Telephone (TTY) and/or Telecommunications Device for the Deaf (TDD) services for the hearing impaired. For the Relay Service, call 711.  Select the link below for other numbers in the DC Government TTY/TTD Directory.

If you need to contact the police, fire department, or EMS for response to an emergency situation, please call 911 immediately. The emergency number, 911, is TTY compatible and operators will be available to assist you 24 hours a day.
