Office on Latino Affairs and US Census Bureau Partner to Recruit Census Takers

The US Census Bureau is recruiting now for part-time census takers for the 2010 Census. We are specifically interested in recruiting census-takers who are bilingual (Spanish/English), 18 or older, and who reside in Ward 1 in the District of Columbia. To qualify you will have to take a test, which results will be immediately given to you.

The pay is good, the hours are flexible and the work is close to home. Census taker jobs are excellent for retirees, college students, those who want to work part-time or who are between jobs, or just about anyone who wants to earn extra money while performing an important community service.

If you reside in Ward 1, and are interested to work for the Census, please register to participate in our next testing session sponsored by the Executive Office of the Mayor, Office on Latino Affairs in coordination with the US Census Bureau.
