(Washington, DC) --- The Washington Development Industry Council and the Department of Small and Local Business Development are sponsoring the 2009 Washington Business Summit on March 3-4, 2009 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, located at 801 Mount Vernon Place, NW, Washington, DC.
Developers, architects and engineers, contractors, and other construction-related companies are encouraged to attend the two-day event, which will focus on a theme of “Guiding Your Business Through Tough Economic Times.”
This year’s summit will include workshops that explore solutions to pressing small business development issues, access to banking and bonding services, green technologies, and much more. Again this year, small and local businesses will preview upcoming real estate development, architecture and engineering and construction opportunities in the District and metropolitan area.
The 2009 Summit promises to be one of the best. It kicks off March 3 with a welcome and networking reception from 6 pm - 8:30 pm, and the workshops and presentations will take place on March 4. Specific information on the summit schedule will be updated on our website at wdic.com and dslbd.dc.gov.
