DSLBD Announces Upcoming Classes

(Washington, DC) - In addition to many other free business training courses presented by DSLBD, the agency has two new classes in niche subjects that are important to the success of business owners. Both Marketing For Business Success and Understanding Financial Statements will provide tools to advertise, organize, and expand your business.
  
Marketing For Business Success focuses on techniques to increase sales, attract and retain customers, set specific goals, and create a marketing plan. The upcoming course schedule is as follows: March 30, April 6, April 27, May 4, June 1, and June 29 from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
 
Understanding Financial Statements is comprised of multiple courses that address specific topics. The upcoming course schedule is as follows:

  • Creating an Income Statement: March 26 and May 15 from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm
  • Creating a Balance Sheet: April 9 and May 28 from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm
  • Cash Flow: March 12, April 23, and June 11 from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm

Additionally, back by popular demand, there will be two all-day courses: QuickBooks for Contractors and Indirect Rates/Cost Estimating. The QuickBooks class will take place on March 19; the Indirect Rates/Cost Estimating Class is on April 21. Both classes are from 10 am to 5 pm.

All of the aforementioned courses will take place at the specified times at DSLBD’s e-BIC Training Center at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Library, 901 G Street, NW, Room A-1, Washington, DC 20001.
