(Washington, DC) - The DC Department of Small & Local Business Development (DSLBD) in partnership with the Department of Employment Services is proud to announce the new DC Summer Youth Entrepreneurship Experience starting June 2009.
DSLBD will host a group of high school students to partake in a nine-week entrepreneurship training program that will culminate in a Business Plan Competition. Participants will spend their time exploring interactive business simulation gaming, meeting government leaders and local business owners, and learning about business plan development and the process of starting a business. They will have the opportunity to put their creativity to the test and win prizes for their great business ideas with the help of DSLBD and our youth entrepreneurship partners.
Spend this summer learning to be your own boss!
