(Washington, DC) - In order to better serve the Washington DC metropolitan region's Hispanic business community, the Department of Small and Local Business Development (DSBLD) and the Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GWHCC) have partnered to conduct the Spanish-interpreted Certified Business Enterprise (CBE) Certification Workshop. We highly encourage Spanish speakers to participate in this opportunity to learn about the CBE application process and attend a Q&A in Spanish. This is the first time the GWHCC will conduct this seminar strictly for Spanish speakers.

Participation in a CBE Pre-certification Workshop is a mandatory requirement to apply for the CBE program, which gives local businesses preference in the District government procurement process. The workshops provide previously uncertified business representatives with detailed instructions on how to complete CBE applications and help applicants avoid submitting incomplete applications (which DSLBD does not accept).

Certificación de Negocios en Español - (CBE)

Con el objetivo de mejorar el servicio a la Comunidad Empresarial Hispana del Área Metropolitana de Washington DC; el Departamento de Desarrollo para Negocios Pequeños (DSBLD) y la Camara de Comercio de Hispanos del Área Metropolitana de Washington D.C. (GWHCC) han hecho un acuerdo para dictar los cursos de certificación para negocios (CBE) en Español. Los invitamos a que aprovechen esta gran oportunidad de aprender el proceso de aplicación para la certificación CBE y al mismo tiempo atender la sesión de "preguntas y respuesta" en Español. Es la primera vez que la Camara de Comercio realiza este seminario en español. Aproveche esta gran oportunidad!!!

El programa CBE otorga preferencia a negocios o empresas locales para obtener contratos con el gobierno del Distrito de Columbia. Para obtener dicha certificación, es obligatorio asistir a un taller de precertificación. Durante el taller, se explicarán las ventajas del programa y se ofrecerán instrucciones detalladas para llenar la solicitud (DSLBD no acepta solicitudes incompletas).
