Tools for Building and Sustaining Multi-Sector Regional Partnerships
(WASHINGTON, DC) Over 350 people from throughout the Washington Metropolitan area came together to attend the Third Annual Public-Private Partnership Conference held at the George Washington University Marvin Center. Every sector was represented: individuals from the District government, the federal government, foundations, nonprofit organizations, faith-based institutions, corporations, businesses, and regional and national groups were all involved in the conference.
The conference provided the tools for building and sustaining public-private partnerships that address priority issues in the District of Columbia and Greater Washington Metropolitan Area. Participants were given opportunities to explore issues relevant to multi-sector partnerships and to increase their ability to use tools that create effective partnerships.
