A special issue of OPGD's Funding Alert is now available.

(WASHINGTON, DC) The Mayor's Office of Partnerships and Grants Development (OPGD) released the first-ever special issue of Funding Alert. The issue focuses on grant opportunities and resources that are available to assist health-related organizations in the District of Columbia. Improving health outcomes is one of the most important aspects of the DC government's strategic priority to strengthen children, youth, families, and individuals.

This special issue delivers information that community partners require in order to make their programs as effective as possible. Highlights include a preview of grant opportunities offered by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Health Resources and Services Administration. Information is also provided about major foundations that focus on health, such as the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Public Welfare Foundation.
