WASHINGTON, DC - Mayor Anthony A. Williams and the District of Columbia government's Office of Partnerships and Grants Development announce the Third Annual Public-Private Partnership Conference to be held July 24, 2001 at George Washington University's Marvin Center.
The theme of the conference is "Tools for Building and Sustaining Regional Multi-Sector Partnerships." It includes a keynote speaker, two workshop sessions, a networking lunch, and an afternoon hands-on training session. The workshop and training sessions focus on cross-sector collaboration among various types of organizations. The financial, legal, and technological dimensions of partnerships also will be covered along with other topics such as President Bush's civic initiatives.
