The District Office of Property Management (OPM) published the first comprehensive list of properties owned or controlled by DC government, including parcels owned by DC Public Schools, the DC Housing Authority and other DC Government authorities.

“We are pleased to post this 70-page comprehensive list of DC properties,” said Lars Etzkorn, OPM director.  “Citizens, businesses and all other interested parties can now more easily know what real estate their Distirct Government owns or controls. OPM will continue to improve the data and increase its user-friendliness.”

Properties which show federal ownership are governed by agreements giving the District jurisdiction of the parcel. 

The list by square and lot is based primarily on the records of the DC Office of Tax and Revenue and on the best available information as of the date of the report. Title searches have not been conducted. The list is updated periodically.
