(Washington, DC) - The Department of Real Estate Services (DRES) has issued a Request for Offers (RFO) for the reuse of the Langley School, located at 101 T Street, NE.

The RFO is only open to eligible parties under applicable law, primarily charter schools.  The proposals will be evaluated based on several criteria, including the organization’s financial viability and demonstrated financial capacity to execute the proposed program.

RFO responses are due by noon, September 15, 2009, delivered to the Department of Real Estate Services, Attn: Althea Holford, 2000 14th Street, NW, Suite 800, Washington, DC 20009.

The anticipated evaluation timetable is: RFO issued, Thursday, August 13, 2009; site visits, August 20, (exact time and details will be posted no later than August 18), offers due September 15, no later than noon; notification, October, 2009.
