The dates relating to the taximeter system have been extended. The effective date for implementing a time and distance taximeter system for the District of Columbia has been changed to May 1, 2008. The time for filing written comments on the Proposed Rulemaking to implement the taximeter system has also been extended to March 26, 2008.
