The three Presidential Electors of the District of Columbia's 12th Electoral College cast their ballots for Barack Obama and Joseph Biden. The DC electors are Council Chairman Vincent C. Gray, Ward 4 Councilmember Muriel E. Bowser, and Jerry S. Cooper, World War II veteran and longtime Democratic activist. The electors signed the official Electoral College ballots in the Mayor’s Ceremonial Office in the John A. Wilson Building on December 15, 2008, as required by federal law.
