(Washington, DC) - The Office of the People's Counsel along with the District Department of the Environment, PEPCO, Washington Gas, Verizon, DC Water and Sewer Authority, and the DC Public Service Commission would like to extend an invitation eligible District consumers to attend Joint Utility Discount Day (JUDD) - Thursday, September 17, 2009, 8 am - 7 pm at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
JUDD is an opportunity for consumers who meet income eligible income criteria to apply for energy assistance grants of up to $750 and discounts on their utility services year round. Please share the attached flyer and income guidelines with your constituents.
