(Washington, DC) The Office of Tax and Revenue (OTR) has launched a new webpage to educate taxpayers about OTR’s Collection Division, which is responsible for collecting all District taxes as well as an array of business-related fees and surcharges.

“This new webpage not only provides taxpayers with easy access to resources regarding collections, it also provides them with the information needed to meet their tax obligations,” said Bedell Terry, chief of OTR’s Collection Division.

The new page covers topics such as:

• Certificate of Good Standing requests,
• The "Clean Hands" law,
• Enforcement actions,
• Installment payments, and
• An offer in compromise.
