The District's Office of Tax and Revenue (OTR) announced today that its customer service centers will have extended hours – 8:15 am to 8 pm – on the third Thursday of each month to help residents meet their tax obligations.

"It is important for taxpayers to know that we are here to help them with any District tax-related matter they may have," said Sherryl Hobbs Newman, deputy chief financial officer for Tax and Revenue. “We want to be as accessible as possible to our customers and provide them with the best possible service.”

OTR’s walk-in center, located at 941 North Capitol Street, NE, first floor, will offer extended hours beginning Thursday, November 15. Customer service specialists will be available to answer any tax-related questions and provide assistance on individual income, business, and real property taxes.
